Gift Wrapping

The Gift wrapping feature allows you to offer premium packaging services to your customers directly within the cart drawer. This is an excellent tool for increasing your Average Order Value (AOV), especially during holiday seasons or for gift-oriented stores.

Configuration Settings

These options control how the gift wrapping service is presented and managed:

• Label icon: Choose a representative icon for the gift service (e.g., a "Gift wrap" icon).

• Show text: Toggle this switch to display or hide the header text next to the feature icon.

• Gift wrapping product: Select the specific product from your Shopify admin that represents the gift wrapping service. This allows the app to automatically add the correct item and price to the cart.

• Text (Description): Use the rich text editor to provide details about the gift wrapping service, such as the fee or specific packaging options (e.g., "Fee is only $10.00").

• Text add wrap: Customize the text for the button used to add the service to the cart (e.g., "Add gift wrapping").

• Text cancel: Customize the text for the button used to discard the gift wrapping option (e.g., "Cancel").

How it Works

When enabled in the Extra group settings, a dedicated gift icon appears in the functional footer of the cart drawer. Upon clicking the icon, a sub-menu opens where customers can read your description and choose to add the gift wrapping service to their order with a single click.
