Estimate Shipping

The Estimate Shipping feature allows customers to calculate their shipping costs directly within the cart drawer, helping to prevent unexpected costs at checkout.

General Customization

These settings control the visual presentation and basic input field labels:

• Label icon: Set the representative icon for the shipping estimator feature.

• Show text: Toggle to display or hide the descriptive header text next to the icon.

• Text country: Define the label for the country selection dropdown (e.g., "Country").

• Text province: Define the label for the state or province field (e.g., "Province").

• Text ZIP code: Set the label for the postal code input field (e.g., "ZIP code").

• Text estimate: Customize the text on the primary calculation button (e.g., "Estimate").

• Text close: Customize the text for the button that closes the estimator (e.g., "Close").

• Text free: Specify the label used when the calculated shipping rate is free (e.g., "FREE").

Success Messages

Customize the feedback customers receive based on the calculation results:

• One rate: The message displayed when only a single shipping option is available.

• Multiple rates: The message shown when several different shipping methods are found.

• No rates: The message displayed if no shipping options are available for the customer's specific location.

Error Messages

Tailor the alerts shown when required information is missing or incorrect:

• Country blank: The alert triggered if a customer attempts to estimate shipping without selecting a country.

• ZIP code blank: The alert shown if the ZIP/postal code field is left empty.

• ZIP code error: The alert displayed if an invalid or unrecognized ZIP code format is entered.
