Discount Code

The Discount Code feature allows customers to apply promotional coupons directly within the cart drawer. This streamlined process encourages faster checkouts by eliminating the need for customers to navigate away from their cart to apply discounts.

General Settings

These options control the visual identity and basic labels of the discount form:

• Label icon: Choose the representative icon for the discount feature (e.g., a "Discount form" icon).

• Show text: Toggle this switch to display or hide the descriptive label text next to the feature icon.

• Label: Set the main heading for the discount section (e.g., "Add a discount code").

• Placeholder: Define the hint text shown inside the input field before a code is entered (e.g., "Discount code").

• Button: Customize the text on the submission button (e.g., "Apply").

• Close: Personalize the text for the button used to exit the discount view (e.g., "Close").

System Feedback

Tailor the automated messages that guide customers through the discount application process:

• Text applied: The message displayed once a discount code has been successfully validated and applied to the total (e.g., "Applied").

• Text error: The alert shown to customers if an invalid, expired, or unrecognized code is entered (e.g., "Enter a valid discount").

How it Works

When enabled in the Extra group, a dedicated discount icon appears in the cart drawer's functional footer. Customers simply click the icon to reveal the input field, enter their code, and see the savings reflected instantly in their Estimated total.
