Shipping Protection

The Shipping Protection feature allows you to offer customers peace of mind by protecting their orders against loss, theft, or damage. This is a valuable tool for increasing customer trust while generating additional revenue per order.
Configuration Settings
These options control how the protection service is presented in the footer of the cart drawer:
Shipping protection product: Select the specific product from your Shopify admin that represents the protection fee.
Title: Define the main heading for the protection block (e.g., "Shipping protection").
Title size: Choose the display size for your title (e.g., XXXS to Large).
Description: Use the text field to explain what the protection covers (e.g., "Secure your order for accidents, theft, and mishaps").
Description size: Adjust the font size of the description text (e.g., XS).
Price size: Customize the font size of the protection fee display.
Show image: Toggle to display or hide a security-related icon next to the description.
Image width: Adjust the size of the security icon using the slider (e.g., 62 px).
How it Works
When enabled in the Footer group settings, the shipping protection block appears just above the checkout button. Customers can simply toggle the switch to add the protection service to their total instantly.
Note: When creating a product for Shipping Protection, you need to set its status to "Unlisted" so that it does not appear in search and collection pages.
